Installing new door pins in the morning. How do bushings go?

Awesome guys. I will do it like #1 then. Thats what I thought originally then I started thinking well what if the bushing falls out and that lip is not there to hold it. You are probably right though. The cotter pin probably holds the bushing up.

Installing new door pins in the morning. How do bushings go?

I agree with this so in that case wouldn't I want #2? With #1 the bottom bushing will have its lip on the bottom so if it was loose at all it could fall out. wouldnt you want the lip to be on the top like the top bushing would be?

Installing new door pins in the morning. How do bushings go?

Ok. In the morning I will be installing new door pins in my 92 notch. I understand how to get the olds out by cutting them but how exactly do the new bushings go in with the new pins? the bushing has a lip on one end so where does that lip go? Facing up or facing down? I have posted a picture of...

which pin/wire on ECU has tach signal on it?

Maybe I don't want to do that then if its going to cause issue's. Anyone know why my zex window switch would not be picking up the tach signal off the negative side of the coil properly? I was told to hook it there and I did but its not reading the signal properly. Zex tech support told me to...

how do I tap into negative coil wire for tach signal?

How do I tap into the negative coil wire for a tach signal? Do I just use a splice connector and splice into the wire or is there a way to plug a spade connector into the harness or something? I don\'t really want to cut up my stock harness with a splice connector if I don\'t have to. Thanks...

    Ordered my first true mod...

You can do it yourself. Just solder the wires together instead of using crimp connectors so you get a nice resistance free connection. Make sure to use some shrink tube over the connections to keep moisture and dirt out of them also.

    Headlight Switch Repair Kit

Use a relay and you will be fine. If it just started happening then I would bet your MF switch and your headlamp switch are fine. Just wire up a relay to keep that current out of the switch and you will be fine.

    92 LX 5.0 T5 with vibration at 85 mph or 5000 rpm??

Did your U joints look ok or did they look like they needed to be replaced. Mine look ok as far as I can tell but maybe they are causing it to be out of balance for some reason.

    92 LX 5.0 T5 with vibration at 85 mph or 5000 rpm??

Well I have been messing around with it and its really only bad at 85 mph and in 5th gear. After 85 it only gets worse the faster you go. If you push the clutch in it does not go away so I am leaning towards the driveshaft. I got under the car and checked the 4 bolts that bolt the driveshaft...

90 shot and stock heat range plugs?

I installed a wet nitrous kit on my 92 LX 5.0. I want to spray a 90 shot currently and want to know if I can run stock plugs or should I go 1 heat range colder? It is a daily driven car but not sprayed daily.

bad habits you have when working on your car

    PINKS

They all race mustangs because bang for your buck they are about the cheapest/easiest to mod for your average guy. Plus they are light in weight. Pinks all out is a big event they have where they seperate the cars into time grps 10.00 - 10.30 and so on like that. Then they race heads up for...

    So Excited!!

I have always read the same thing. The 5.0 can take a 200 shot no problem but the rings tend to not like it so much. I think that a modest spraying of 150 would be fine for quite a while though.
