I run 3.90's and I didn't see any big drop in MPG and I drive my car 60 miles to and from work everyday. I run full slicks on a built 31 rearend in my 01 GT. I have never had a problem with my 3.90's. Cars run mid 12's and puts down a 1.5 60 foot time lifting the front tire. Hope this helps.

I do have the option to set it...But I have no clue to set it at. I have 245X45X17 tires if that helps... So per Tire Calculator it should be set to 785 so I'll try setting that tomorrow and see what happens.

I understood and the major problem is I'm not getting in power into or out of the switch. So before I change the switch I need to fix it so that it's getting power.

Yeah...stop light switch = brake light switch.

Yup... I tested both sides with a test light and it worked. Then I tested the switch and pulled the connector and tested both leads and got nothing. All tested using the same grounding point for the test light.

well my 01 GT went from 13.1 to a 12.7 from adding 3.90 gears if that helps give you any idea. But I run full MT slicks also. The biggest difference I see from bigger gears is when I launch at the starting line my car dosen't bog like it did with the stock 3.27 gears.

You could split it like I did... I have 3.90's in my 01 GT haven't noticed a chage in gas much at all.
