    It's done...only took 6 years.

I'll get some more shots up after this weekend. The rear main has to be changed (motor sat too long I guess) and I am having some problems with the third member making noise. Anyway, up on the lift it goes on Saturday, and hopefully by the end of the weekend it should be dialed in. So hang...

We will have some updated underside pics this coming weekend. I had to order heavier springs all the way around for it, and they should be here Thursday. We'll throw her on the lift, and get things dialed in. Yep, they are now building a trophy truck...I'll sneek some shots of that to. ;)

I hated the 70 Mach rocker panels, always have. I also didn't want any graphics, and in my mind the 69 stripes were simple, yet effective in breaking up the side of the car. It was a no brainer in my opinion...but opinions are like...well you know.

Thanks all...and yes I realize it's never done. In fact I still have to install several things. This car though hasn't been registered, or on the road, since 1985. It sat in my friends back yard with no engine, and no trans since then, and I rescued it. I began the dissassembly right away, in...

We built the linked rear (it's a 3 link...sort of) and the fronts are a custom design, but a lot like the TCP.

    Carb Guru's...Help!

UPDATE- I just want to thank everyone who chimed in and helped me with this. It is now running liked a raped ape, and I couldn't be happier. MSTNGJOE- dude, that info you sent me should just be on a website somewhere for download. The ignition advance at idle was one of the MAIN reasons...

    Carb Guru's...Help!

Bryan- I just checked the ignition wire, and it has 17.33 volts going to the distributor...so we are good there. Steve- I will put some miles on it as soon as the car is insured for driving, and registered...but I need to get the thing finished, and appraised before I can get insurance...

    Carb Guru's...Help!

I am running the Davis Unified Ignition from Performance Distributors. They recommend .050-.055 gap. Ok, I'll re-set everything back to baseline on the carb, and if that doesn't get it, I am ordering a Holley.

Power valve made no difference. :( I hate this Demon.

    Carb Guru's...Help!

Ok, I changed all the plugs (waste of money because the new ones are black now) replaced the rotor and cap because they were both messed up bad, advanced the timing to 25 degrees intial (it's a mechanical distributor, no vacuum advance, comes in full at around 38 degrees at about 2500) and it...

    Carb Guru's...Help!

Bryan...I already drilled out the idle air bleeds, and the float level is set right where yours is. :( Timing right now is 16 BTDC initial. I was told that 18-20 is more on par for my cam. You get the CD yet?

    Carb Guru's...Help!

I have a 5 speed...but the power valve is a thought. Good call, I will try a lower one. I am also going to bump my timing up to 18 degrees intial, and see how that does.

    Carb Guru's...Help!

Ok, this is my issue. I have a very well built 393W, solid roller lifter cam in the 290's for duration, and .585 lift. AFR 185 heads that have been port matched to my Edelbrock Performer RPM. All valves are set at .020 with the engine at full operating temp. I have a Mighty Demon 750 carb...
