i got it as a so-called stage 2, as it has all the stage 2 components with the addition of a stage 3 bumper. But when you run the vin through roush it's a stage 1

Well I don't think it's the whole compressor, but isn't there a clutch or something in it. See what happened is a had a period when I rode with the a/c on and windows down and now you can here the compressor kick on and start to make a rattling sound (repeats very often). The reason I know...

The compressor on my '04 Roush is going out. Are the compressors from all 99-04 'stangs the same. Or was there a difference between the years, or maybe between v6's and v8's? Also, could you use the compressor that comes in the 4.6 crown vic's? I'm clueless....:shrug: Any suggestions?

See someone actually told me that if I was to switch to either 3.27's, 3.55's, or at most 3.73's then I would benefit alot because it would allow me to stay in the power band a longer before having to change gears. Can someone elaborate on this or is it bull?
