Absolutely worth it. My CMS Stage 1 work with stock springs and you should see gains of 20-25rwhp peak-to-peak. even bigger gains over stock at higher rpms.

Yep..out of the box they are perfect for an aggressive street/strip car! Ported they are perfect for a nasty 2V N/A race set-up!

That cam is too big unless you plan on alot more mods down the road. Tone it down in cam choice is my opinion. In camshafts, sometimes less is more. It's all about area under the curve and useable RPM.

The 270 will be scary close....if it clears at all.

Get either a stock stroke forged Cobra crank (Kellogg Crankshafts) or a 3.75" Mod stroker crank if you wanna increase cubes. We have made over 1500hp on both of these Kellogg forged cranks.

Haven't ever used the Patriot cams, so I can't really say. I'd just use the stock OEM gears.

Reuse the stock gears. You don't need to pull the heads off to install cams. Unless you mean the heads are already off the motor.

Use what's in em....

Are you pulling the heads off? Or are they already off? You should be able to reuse your gears. If you are carefull taking the V/C and/or timing cover off, you can reuse the gaskets.
