If it was a rod, would it still run perfect? The noise isnt coming from the bottom

yeah i can rebuild engines...im really tired of messing with this car,tired of working on it and im running low on funds...ive had it for 7 years and this is the 2nd motor..i have also had a few other ford mechanics look at it,and we have all agreed that its not in the bottom end...the video...

ive had 1 knock before and it lost power and sounded alot worse than this..the sound is coming from up high and sounds like its in the front of the motor.it runs great,no miss,no power loss...just very noisy..

I wish that was the problem..but its deff not an exhaust leak

havent had a chance to go video it yet,had too much bs going on lately...im gonna end up scrapping it if i cant figure it out

i have a 2000 gt with an 03 engine,a few months ago it developed a pecking noise that sounded like it was coming from either the front of the engine or under cam covers.i took the covers off and checked everything,and put it back together,changed the oil and it helped a lil bit..well i later got...

its a cervini's brand,needless to say it's top of the line brand! it needs a lil bit of prep work before having it painted and other than that its in good shape! i'm looking to get 275 obo. i will not ship due to costing so much unless someone wants to pay shipping.but i am willing to meet...

i did a full long block and it still had the engine harness on it,but i just changed that and it still didnt help it..if you slowly get into the throttle it wont pop and crack as bad as when u just gun it....the original motor knocked like crazy but didnt cut out

everything is hooked up,and the only code it shows is multiple cylinder misfire...

i have a 2000 gt and i installed a 2003 engine,i also used the engine harness that went with the 03 motor.i still have the 2000 computer in the car and i was wondering if this would or could cause misfire problems??? i have changed coils,plugs,camshaft position sensor and injectors and so far...

i've got a motor that was taken apart and the crank was left in it. i'm ready to put it back together and i was wondering if i need to replace the rod bolts? i know they are torque to yeild but i cant find new bolts.tried summit and they said they didnt list them and said i didnt have to replace...

i honestly had no idea! well i have some extra heads and i think i might sale 1 or 2 of them.

my research consists of having worked with certified ford mechanics,and having both engines in the garage torn down,and the cam covers wont fit the other heads,the heads gaskets dont line up right due to the ports being in diff places! u can sit the romeo heads on the windsor block and bolt them...
