    19x9.5 with 275/40-19 on front

I'm running 275/40-18s on 18x9 et 45 wheels on my 06 and it's lowered. You should be fine as long as the wheels are the right offset.

    Rear bumper upgrade

I did the same thing when I got rear ended in a Sonic drive through. I was a little ticked but after it was over, I got a new Shelby bumper for free and I finally got to get rid of my original bumper that was messed up from a previous accident where I was rear ended and the perp fled the scene.

    Detroit rocker cams/emissions legal?

Is it a sniff test or an OBDII plug in test? If it's the latter it should be good as long as all the sensors are still enabled and no CELs.

    SCT Brenspeed tune failed inspection

I had the same issue in Texas. Call them up and they can email you the tune to pass. They did it at no charge for me.

    Gorilla Nuts

Even with Gorilla lugs, if they want your wheels bad enough, they will find a way to steel them. Still, for the small investment, I think I paid around $30 to $40, it may help a little. But I've lost the lock at least twice and gone to Discount tire and bought new ones, on the spot, for less...

    Rocker Panel Moldings

You could just scuff you stock rocker panels and hit them with spray-on truck bed liner. I've done it with success in the past. Gives you a matte textured look and is very durable. I even fixed the grill on the front of my wife's yellow VW Beetle by epoxying the crack and hit it with black...

Beefing up stock brakes, could use some advice

I'd stear clear of the fancy rotors and probably not even bother with the braided hoses. Your best bet is a pad change and maybe a fluid change. I've run both Hawk HPS and Porterfield R-4Ss with good success. Both are great pads for fast street driving but for the track I switch to something...

    Muffler Mod for appearance

I did the same thing to mine before I put Pypes MDs on it. Definitely makes the rear end look better and more finished.

My mechanic said: just deal with it (brakes)

Cross drilled and/or slotted rotor are overrated in my opinion. For the price especially it's not going to do much for you other than look cool. The most effective brake upgrades for the money are going to be pad choice and brake fluid. I use the stock rotors for track events and they work...

    Best Brake Pad Option?

I have used HP+ pads for street use and HPDEs but they dusted a lot and were loud. Didn't bother me but I was tired of people telling me I needed new brakes because they were uninformed. I run Porterfield R-4Ss now which are comparable and much better on the street. Now that I've graduated up...

    Custom Tune... Pinging?

Good to know I'm not the only one I guess. Now that the temp has dropped it runs fine but on warmer days it can sometimes ping pretty badly on anything above 4000rpm for me with Brenspeed's 93 tune. I've tried seafoam and that was only a temporary cure for me. I've been waiting to do headers...

Fuel Gauge Affected by Hard Cornering

Happens to me every time I go to the track. I try to keep more the 1/2 a tank and these seems to keep it from doing that. My car is so loud and I'm too preoccupied to notice when that reminder does come on most of the time, though.

    4.10 vs 3.73 gears.... AGAIN.....Road Courses

I have to agree, it all depends on the road course. I have 3.55s on mine and they are fine. If I ever need to rebuild the rearend I may go to 3.73s but 3.55s work just fine. After all, you have to weigh your options and unless you are actually doing wheel to wheel racing or timed events how...

    Radar Detectors Are Now Worthless

The only detector I will ever use is a Valentine 1. It's pricey but mine saved me numerous times. It's just too bad some punks smashed in my driver side window a few months ago and stole mine. Still haven't replaced it but I've been paying for a wedding instead lately.

    Interior Done and Mirrors Painted

Not really my thing but it looks better than I would have thought. The paint work looks good, not like Hondas that have rattle can jobs. I like the red stitching on the steering wheel a lot.

The Foose Stallion had headlights like that IIRC.

Anyone tried the GT500 strut mounts on their lowered Stang?

I have them sitting in a box in my living room. I really need to get around to installing them as my stockers are popping bad.

    Moss Mustang

I've ordered a few things from them. Very good service. Sometimes they have good prices.

Pypes Muffler Delete system hanging on one side, help

I cut mine and re-welded it on for proper fitment, but that is kind of the hard way.
