Ok, so I got the spec sheet from Probe. They are custom ordered pistons. The rods are 5.4". Piston Specs: bore: 4.030 comp height: 1.300 comp ratio (with 64cc heads): 8.5 pin dia: .927 Let me know if these adds up to a long rod 302. Thats what I'm thinking because of the comp height.

I'll have to check when i get home. These probe pistons are supposed to be real lightweight. It even has stamped LW-40 (lightweight 40 over)

Well, PTV hasn't been checked, but everyone says anything over 500 lift will hit. If its an issue on a stock cam (2.02 int valves), im sure its near impossible with such a big cam.

That cam was in a real low 10 sec mustang turbo. Cant be too big with high boost and those big heads. I know i can get 400hp out of a bottom end, but why push things to the limit? Could it be that I have stock sized crower rods with .40 over pistons? I know the boring makes the block weaker...

The internals are cast. But I need the pistons to clear the valves on the heads. i could always put a smaller pulley to boost more lol.

I honestly think so. My old Conquest had a 2.6 4 banger with a 60-1 and it was putting down 300. My word of advice after dealing with turbos, it's all in the tune and always check your oil and oil lines and stay on top of it. They can be real finicky.

yeah cobra intake is OK. but not nearly the best. Unless you port it out and make it match up to the heads, you maybe would wanna go for better intake. You can sell that cobra one for like 100 bucks and use it towards a holley systemax or edelbrock. EDIT: Oh and the T5 will not hold up lol...
