    Progress Thread The Re-Rebuild..

I have been bouncing this around for a while too. Hopefully mine will hold up long enough for me to get it rebuilt. She looks sexy as always, still going to run the single turbo setup?

    2000 GT Motor Build

Got some stuff in the mail last week. Last few things on my list before the final tune. I got a 3" universal piping kit. I'm going to have a friend of mine tig weld it. Bought new t-bolt clamps for everything else.

I had this problem before, tried cleaning the IAC with some MAF cleaner, didn't fix it. I ended up replacing the IAC, problem solved.

How much should I ask for this car?

Not worth your time, you will have a really hard time trying to sell it if you ever need to. There are plenty of Mustangs in the field.

    Fuel Fuel tank sensors question

Gas is flowing out of both as of now. If I fill too fast it comes out of the filler neck, when the tank is full it is released out of the vapor valve (I assume). Drips down the sides of the tank and onto the ground. Im almost positive that I put the vapor valve in the same location, probably not...

    Fuel Fuel tank sensors question

Mine is a 2000, so I will definitely try drilling out the vent restrictor. I can only imagine that the fuel is coming out of the vapor valve. I did not have the spilling issue until a couple of weeks ago, so it is a bit confusing. Hopefully this quick fix will take care of both issues. Right...

    Fuel Fuel tank sensors question

I have a sumped fuel tank to run with my A1000 system on the car. When I removed the tank to get the sump welded in I had a HELL of a time removing the sensors in the top of the fuel tank. Damn near impossible to do without breaking them, which I did. When I installed the tank I bought a new...

Suspension SVE Rear Lower Control Arms (RLCA)

Yes, the quality of the control arms are fine. It was just the bushings that were not very good.

    2000 GT Motor Build

Still waiting to iron out some last few kinks before taking her back to the dyno. My idler pulley behind the SC has a bad bearing, fixing it next week. Hopefully get on the rollers sometime in Jan. Been a CRAZY end of the year. I have been doing other work though. Had an issue with oil leaking...

Suspension SVE Rear Lower Control Arms (RLCA)

I am posting this for anyone that has considered buying the SVE control arms on Latemodel or many other places. I have been doing a large build on my motor for the last 2 years and these RLCAs are not a very good product. When researching them I found they looked identical the MM RLCAs except...

Part Out My 2000 Gt Convertible?

I agree with mransr, you could make much more than 800 if you are willing to part it out. Motor, tranny, seats, driveshaft, diff, wheels?, fuel tank, and other small stuff.
