GT 500
the Gt 500 is a little heavy at 3900lbs but it handles very well i n fact in a head to head test it out did the Corvette going through some corners on a road course plus it is very fast that would be my choice.
3.55's with Cobra engine
I went to the 3.55,s and i did notice a nice increase in performance ,i do some freeway driving so I didn't opt for the lower gears.the stock gears are simply to high.
wow sorry i brought it up
I have lower control arms with the spherical bushings on my 02 Gt and the car feels s o much better when i take hard corners ,just think it is a good idea to have them since they put less stress on your frame and they are not expensive, no need to be rude and really...
Fords are better
not true the mustangs are beating the crap out of the Chevy's in IHRA prostock, airflow through the heads is paramount on those huge mountain motors.

why would anyone put a crappy Chevy engine in a Stang when you can get as much or more power out of a Ford engine ,it would be a better idea to put a Ford engine in a Corvette.

anybody install a set of the Roush progressive rate springs part #SMO13700v8.I am wondering how the much they change the ride, what did you like or not like about them. I have a 02 GT.
I know several guys that are getting over 700 RHP out of the 4.6's and driving them on the street with no prob lems, it is in my opinion a better motor than the 5.0.if you think the Camaros are so great get one I don't think any one on this site cares.
I just recently installed Tokico hp series shocks on my 02 GT wich is 1 1/4 inch lower than stock and they raised the car up more than a 1/4 inch, will they settle down because if they don't I will probably get rid of them .I liked the way my car was sitting before I put on the Tokico's.
[I] would get the Ford racing gears,I have a lot of work done By Lamotta performance in Longwood FL.,when it comes to gears they they won't install anything else.Have had the Ford racing gears in two different mustangs ,no noise, no problems
