what do you guys find work best for salt removal on your engines? i used a burrilo *sp pad and simple green but it didn't work very well. carb cleaner, greased lightning, etc etc all that stuff really didn't do what im looking for. someone at work mentioned using this stuff he uses on his boat...

lol, i had the very same issue last week...it wasn't my solenoid it was my relay. my relay was stuck in the on position. 12 dollar fix.

i have a 93gt and i've been wondering if i were to switch to carbeurated if i could keep it smog legal? things like the smog pump and egr would be lost. is there a waiver of some sort?

a lot of people are saying solenoid while it makes sense...i dont see how it could be the solenoid if a proper working relay would not allow power to the starter. im hoping very much its my relay, and since i had a lifetime warranty on my starter, i was able to get a new one free. just gotta...

threw a new starter and relay in my car today. plugged the wires in but did not install the starter because my previous issue was the starter would not disengage....anyways... starter doesn't not turn now. and just to test the relay i hooked a Vmeter up to it as well...0 volts, try to turn...

i have a o2 sensor socket...it has a split down it for the wire. because of the split it warps on the seized o2s. the o2 sensor spot on my o/r hpipe happens to sit so that i can't easily access the header nuts. but on the stock hpipe it wasn't a problem. im hoping i can just chase the...

managed to get the hpipe out by cutting the o2 sensor off...now it should be a lot easier removing whats left. thanks for the input guys.

acutally i used a propane torch, but i was under the car and it was awkward. i guess i can give it a go again. i do have access to a cutting torch but i can change the handle to use it for heating up.
