Did a good bit more seaching and reading. Pipe thread is not the same as the sender hole. The pipe nipples angle a little and cut metal as they go in. Not something I want to do. I would like to find a good adapter plate not a cheep one, but that is all i Have found so far...

Yea trying to add a oil temp and oil pressure sender under the filter.

I have already poped a few unplugging and then testing. That is how I found that it only goes once the key goes to the start position. but I can't find a drawing showing the switch and items in the start position.

The clear has a Lot of Orange peel to it, so We will have to sand it heavy in a few weeks. It is at the glass shop for a new windshild today, headliner is at the trim shop, Pony wheels will get paint today, and reassemble the interior tomorrow. I still need a good set of gray front seats...

We had a lot of trouble with the base, There was some rattle can on the car and the base kept lifting in places from it. ended up costing me another 1/2 gallon of base but it is done today. Pics in a little while.
