The SC are a pain to bleed. I took mine off to hold the bleeder valve up to get it done. Once you have it done you will not be able to push the pushrod in by hand.

I would suspect a bent mainshaft (output shaft) The T5 should be torn down to properly check the runout off of one of the journals (I use the speedo one since that is the thinest area and the most common area for a bend)

I use a cut to fit axle for a replacement and had to cut an 1" off of the spline end. Cut off wheel worked fine. There is nothing to attach to that end so it does not have to be precisely perpendicular.
