One more thing can be the ABS sensor...I was told its part of the T/C system. There may be dirt on it causing it to kick in when you are travailing at a higher speed.

Dumb question but you only did the lip? I have stock rims on my Bullitt. If i were to get rid of the pitting on my wheels I'll go through the same process as you did? (lip)Once you get it as clean as possible (sanding)then a aluminum polish for the up keep? Thanks
