    Farewell! Sold the 'Stang.

Sold it on 9/14/09. My business demanded a new truck and my toys had to be the sacrificial lamb(s). I am posting this here in the welcome forums for the new folks to stangnet. You won't find a better website for information for your Mustang. I've learned a ton just by using the search...

See if your Mustang has this!

So I decided to do something that has been bothering me since I got the car, get all three pods to flash on brake and turn. I don't really care for the sequential turn signals, they are cool and all, but they aren't for me.. I just want all three pods to light up and just not the outer two...

    Is this normal?

I have a V6 auto, if I leave from a stop in a faster than normal pace, I hear a slight whine in first gear, it stops as it shifts into second and it whines till third, no further noises in the rest of the gears. Comparing apples to oranges here, but I can hear my GSXR1000's gear case in all...

    Let's rate the new Mustang

And here I thought the Challenger's front was sick, the front of the 2010 is pure evil - I love it. Unlike others opinions, the rear is lacking the retro 68/69 fast back look, isn't that what the S197 is about? I can't help but to think of the Toyota Supra looking at the back of the 2010...

    Chin Spoiler - Air Dam

Yeah, its stock. The chin spoiler or "air dam" is located directly under the front bumper, held on by a half a dozen push in clips. All the (stock) ones I've seen are black. Its what hits first on a curb in a parking spot, which is quite evident that happened with the first owner...repeatedly.

    Gauge problems

Did you remove the needles for a gauge face replacement or simply disconnect the gauge cluster? Curious why they would be off calibration by simply by disconnecting the harness. I've changed out a gauge plate on my sport bike a few years ago and had something similar happen, I found out I...

    Chin Spoiler - Air Dam

After I had my car off the ground rotating the tires and changing the oil, I've discovered the previous owner of my 'Stang was or still is an idiot. Under the bumper is numerous scratches and the chin spoiler is broke in three different places. I was missing a few of those quick fasteners...

What is the best wax you have used?

I use Meguiars Gold Glass on the Mustang and even on my sport bike. I keep a can of Honda Pro Cleaner and Polish in the trunk for quick touch ups, it's an absolutely amazing product. It will remove road tar, chain lube, or whatever off painted surfaces without harming the clear coat and paint.
