Hmm.. Sounds like two things to try. I actually just realized I have no horn when I press it. Hmmm. I will solve that first and then try the speedo cable it that doesn't fix it. Thanks

Yes. But it isn't on the side of the blower fan.

I notice that some mornings on the way to work I get a wierd fast clicking noise behind my dash/gauage cluster. It sounds like either a relay clicking super fast or I was even thinking a mechanical speedo cable spinning? Anyone know what this could be? It isn't consitant nor speed related and...

The good news is, if that fuel filter cracks you can guarantee the car catches fire when the gas hits the header!!

I have really been on the fence about switching my AOD to a T-5 before I start my motor mods. Seems like I could do a full manual valve body and a nice converter for way less than a t-5 swap? Just hope I would be happy after I did that!

Considering it is AWD, I probably wouldn't recommend that either...

Gran Torino is a great movie. Plus, I learned a couple new racial slurs I didn't know before!!! On a side note, I have already seen some guys on Craigslist trying to capitalize on the movie by selling their Gran Torinos for twice what they wanted last week!!

Car looks clean. I just picked up an 88 LX Vert. Paint is very hazy but I started color sanding and buffing it this weekend. Can't wait to finish it now. Amazing how much you can change the look of a car with some elbow grease.

Not to bring a thread back from the dead but.... I was trying to find out what these cars are worth. My dad has an 89 Saleen California Edition. It is just as described above. Racecraft suspension and ARE wheels. No engine or interior changes. Looks like they are fairly rare. hmm..

So after reading this thread, I went out and looked at my newly acquired 88 vert and sure enough, the silencer is still in there. Guess I need to get it out of there now. Funny.

I just recently bought an 88 vert for about $5K. Bone stock (just like I wanted). Interior is cherry, exterior is pretty darn nice after a buff job. Tons of wind noise inside the car. Think that just comes with the territory on fox 'verts.
