    Interior and Upholstery Upholtery Options

I'm about to order some Distinctive Industries Touring II seats and can't seem to find rear seat upholstery anywhere that isn't a full kit for front and back seats. I don't want to have to pay for TMI upholtery since I don't like their options. Anywhere you guys know of that sells rear seat...

Can An Aod Be Fitted With An Electronic Control Module?

You might try Baumann at becontrols.com and see if they offer anything. That's who I'm going to use for a controller when I finally get a 4r70w for mine. I'm no expert but they can probably steer you in the right direction.

    Heater Core Replacement Problems

Thanks for the heads up. I finally got everything finished and test drive it yesterday. Everything works great. I did a lot of maintenance besides the heater core too. I've found that some parts are heavily overpriced from our mustang suppliers compared to auto parts stores. Three years ago...

    Heater Core Replacement Problems

Replaced the core on my '67 with AC and went to test it and it blows through the floor vents only. I've checked all the vacuum hoses and they are all hooked up. The switch diverted air to the right place before I replaced the core. Do the vacuum diaphragms need the car running to be able to...

    Rear Tires Scraping. Options?

Thanks. I started looking on Craigslist today but haven't found one yet. I drive around all day for work so I'll keep my eyes open. Any other places to look?

    Rear Tires Scraping. Options?

I got the fender roller and it wouldn't fit since my car is lowered even with the suspension drooping as much as it could. The wheel drum is still too close to the fender lip to set the tool up. But I did see that the tires are hitting further up inside the fender well so rolling wouldn't help...

    Rear Tires Scraping. Options?

Thanks! I ordered the fender roller tonight so hopefully that works and I can stay low and lean! That should free up some money for other upgrades if it works. I'm thinking LED headlights next.

    Rear Tires Scraping. Options?

I bought wheels and tires a few years ago and didn't notice major scrapes until I moved from West TX to the Hill country of TX. I researched and went by the chart I found on here for tire figment. I have 17x8, 4.5 backspace, zero offset, and 245/45/17 on back. I replaced the rear soft springs...

    Maybe time for some upgrades...Suggestions?

Thanks for all the advice. I remember seeing an AOD on Craigslist a few months ago so I'll start looking around some more and check some wrecking yards as well.

    Maybe time for some upgrades...Suggestions?

I think all of these are good options and I've got a bit of time before I have to decide on anything. I've spent the last 3 years replacing parts that were worn out and now that it's reliable I can focus more on performance. I've looked at AODs before and that would be my ideal option as well as...

    Maybe time for some upgrades...Suggestions?

My car is running pretty good and I'm looking to put a few thousand into it the end of summer or early fall. I've been feeling the need for some more speed parts but not sure what order I should do things since I usually put about $1500 in the car per year. It's a '67 with a stock 289 except...

    front springs

Guess I should've remembered I had that template so I could've given it to you before you ordered it.

    c4 pan leak

I just changed mine out last weekend because it was leaking really bad. I bought a new pan from MU that is 1" deeper and used the gasket that came with it and I have no leaks now. I didn't even bother cleaning up the old pan since I'd rather start new with one I know isn't dented or bent.

    front springs

Yeah I think those are the springs he recommended to me too. They work really well. I've got 225/40s on the front and 245/45 on the back. The back tires scrape just a tad when I hit a low spot in the road but I'm going to try to roll the rear fenders hopefully. If I could do it again I'd...

    front springs

I have 550# 1" drop springs on my front and they work really well and it sits nice and low with the Shelby drop too. The only thing I had problems with was figuring out what tire size to run with my 17s since my 245/45s rubbed a bit.

    headlights upgrade

I've been wanting to do this for a while too. Which one should I try to order from the LMC catalog? I have some of the Zenon headlights but they look/shine the same as my halogens I took out since I don't have a relay on there currently.

    insurance

I pay $125 a year for $20K coverage through J.P. Taylor. I have it insured as a classic and have 3,000 miles a year allotment. I usually drive less than 1,000 miles a year though.

    Ford Engine Rebuild Books

Yeah my video is from Box Wrench too. That's the name I couldn't remember yesterday. I have the Tom Monroe book as well.
