A good indication of the power output on the car is Trap speed MPH. If you in the 108-110+ range which most fairly stock 427r run and have a good set of tires, good driver and practice you should be running 12.40'+-. There are lot of ET/MPH calculators out there to look at for a 'perfect' run'...

A good set of drag radials would help me out powershifting 1-2. With my street tires all I get is lots of wheel spin so I don't shift that way with street tires. :nice:

It wasn't easy. I had a 5 year note but made double payments every 2 weeks along with a few extras thrown in. It feels good now but it sure wasn't any fun watching those big payments going to Ford. Now I can enjoy it and move on. I guess the good thing is I would have lost most of that money...

I bought my 427R in May 2007. Ordered it new in mar of that year. All I have done to it is a Roush Pulley upgrade and tune and some CDC hood struts. It has 2400 miles on it and I paid it off this past nov. Its a blast to cruise in when I get the time.

Thanks to alot of Overtime last year I was able to pay off mine in 19 months. Paid off this past Nov.:nice:
