    5 Lug Conversion

    I've heard of some stories that the ranger axle will break. In all the stories i've heard it always the passenger axle that snaps. Maybe because it was on the drivers side in the ranger then there you swap it to the passenger side in the mustangs. I don't know maybe it's all stories.....:shrug:

    True. I think the problem is where he got it from and the intake itself. I hope if i went down to my local speep shop and got one they would be more then happy to refund my money after seeing thats it a pile. I'm NOT saying he did the wrong thing buying it at a show.     It did'nt click untill i saw your post. I used a C&L with the march ram air and they did'nt get along to well. I had a friend tune it and it ran much better after that. I'm no longer a fan of C&L.:notnice: I know he's not running ram air but only a cold air kit but it might mean something..

    I can't speak for the intake but i have never had any problem with any other BBK item. Thats kinda unfair to BBK i think. Just because Ford made the Tempo does that meen all Ford products are crap?:bs:

    Just buy a T-top car. They look alot better then any sliding ragtop ever would on a stang. And i hate T-tops cars

    proper way to delete ac and smog?

    I only did it because my A/C did'nt work and i wanted to clean up under the hood. Other then that i would guess maybe 2-5 HP and about 10 pounds off the frt end if you remove everything. If your A/C still works i would'nt remove it. I think someday in the future people restoring there...

    I agree, Now that i see the Cobra and T/C have diffrent soft line and caliper part number. Do you have a shop around you that can cut your loops and re-flare the ends?

    Me to. I even have a Cobra axle in my car but it had no brakes and shafts when i got it. I just used T/C brakes and shafts. Maybe if they pre-bent t/c lines that would help you looping problem? Sux's you dumped money on parts that don't work. I would also like to use ss but i still have...

    I looked this up on the Autozone website 93 Cobra rear soft lines. part #77615....Both sides 88 T/C rear soft line. Part #70024......Drivers side 70025.......pass side Even the caliper for the rear are a diffrent part # p4508 for the T/C and...

    OHHHHH! I missed that. Do They sell pre-bent for a T/C? I have no idea what the lines look like on a 93 Cobra. I thought the Cobra and the T/C used the same lines. I know the brakes are the same but i don't know about the lines. Even at that the ones they sent you don't even look close to...

    I have'nt looked but does anybody make a pre-bent stainless steel hard lines? You would still need to find the T that the body soft line would hook up to.

    None that i have found so far. Thats one reson i'm going to use the 94 5 lug axles with the re-drilled t/c rotor. I would rather keep the stock look over the homemade look. (not that yours looks bad) Plus i have all new O.E. hard and soft lines in a box "someplace"

    wish i could be more help but i'm just useing stock t/c brakes on my car. I'm guessing you went 5 lug? I'm gearing up to use the re-worked t/c rotors when i do my 5 lug swap. it's still a 4 luger

    Not a problem. BTW I lost count on how many i have. 2 in the garage, one in my car, i belive i have 2 more in the shed and one still in a parts car. lol
