Broke a piston...are the heads fixable?

My tfs heads looked like that when i went lean on the bottle and burned the whole end off of the plug. All i had to do was have .010 takin off the heads they were like new. I would however have the valves checked and also find out what got in the cylinder. What did the plug look like that came...

people who have installed a Torque converter, need some help.

The front 1/2" has to seet in to the pump. When you look down into the convertor is the hub centered so the input shaft is actually going in properly? I installed a 10" convertor in a aod about 3 weeks ago and it seemed not right to me either. Is it clunking and seeting once or twice? Also what...

Pro flow same as Pro M

i would try the pro-m xfer that coinsides with yours meter And fine tune from there. I had a pro flow cal'd for 30# inj at one time and i used the pro-m xfer and edited it as needed. If i remember correctly it was only like 6 percent off. Just my .02 cents though. Good luck:D

    isc settings w/KB?

Okay i have a question. Does the kenne bell make the TB and the iac valve flow more air at idle than a N/A combo? If so where should i start to make changes to accomidate this? I have fought many idle issues since my air 2 air intercooler project and trying to think outside the box. Any thoughts...

    what is dashpot?

That helps a little, As far as pressure in front of the TB a KB is a draw through setup there for it only has vacuum in front of the TB. The dashpot settings and TB air flow is where i need to start i think.

    delayed throttle response

The best i can tell my WB says afr is still virtually the same but the idle is so bad i cannot drive it hardly at all. Does the ic piping and ic add to the manifold volume? I have also been reading up on the idle procedures and TB air flow and also dash pot settings but not to willing to start...

    what is dashpot?

Is there anywhere i can read up on dashpot settings? I do not understand where to start. I do believe this is where my idle issues are coming from. My idle is all jacked up and i think the dashpot drops off to quickly there for causes it to stall and die.

    delayed throttle response

the egr is turned off in the tune. I am starting wonder if my manifold settings, injector offset, or maybe even the maf curve is off now that there is an intercooler in the mix. Going from 200 degree act to 100 degree act could be the problem. I am just not sure where to start. I have got hours...
