Just remember that the unthreaded/sensing probe end needs to be in the path of the water flow for it to work right. Adapters seem to cover the end that needs to be in the water. I did use an adapter but I modified it to allow the sender to protrude into the water flow.:nice:

I think I may not have the correct water pump pulley. it has a part number of C07E-8509 stamp and is 2.50" deep by 6.50 dia. As far as the pointer, I switched my the water pump outlet to the drivers side for radiator crossflow reasons? So now it covers the pointer. I have read or seen parts...

69 Mach I rewire I went originally with a universal and I am real good with schematics. it was difficult just looking at the circuits to see how they tied in. cost was ~300. when I got closer to the install time I realized it was going to take a lot of trips and searching for factory connectors...

Its a 69 Mach I. The bracket slides over the studs on the booster so no destruction will be required. A1 Cardoen does not sell these and they are one of the largest remanufacturers of assemblies.:shrug: Still searching....

Anyone know where I can get a set of the grills for the side scoops on a 69 Mach I? One wholesaler said they used ot carry them but they where to poor a quality to continue to offer them. Numerous requesdt have come back with nadda. Any suggestions:shrug:

Hey folks, I am installing the sound deadener/insulation, aluminum faced stick back stuff and was wondering how far to go inside the quarters, trunk quarters & outer tubs you would carry this? Looks like I have enough to complete but why chance it. :shrug:

Anyone happen to know what the overall lengths of the factory cables for a 69 Mach I? disc/drum. LH factory is 32" and the replacement seems short by about 4". RH is long side but dont have the factory part to compare length. Checked the front brake cable bracket location and looks...

Power Brake Booster Adapater plate. Hey folks, found out there is an Adapter plate that went missing. :nonono:There is no part numner in any of the assy drawings noting this. It looks to be about a 1/2" thick and made of stamped sheet metal. ANy ideas where to find one of these?:shrug:

Maybe have it pressure checked I feel your pain man ! I did this once long ago and I think can still see the scars and recall a very sore back. I imagine a creative Rad shop could pressure test one for you and maybe inspect and repair a thin joint. Just a suggestion. :shrug:

Anyone know if you are supposed to overlap the sound deadener? How much of an overlap? 1/2" ? Do you basically shell the entire inside of the car? What about the structural parts where the trim mounts to? I would hate to have to remove any of the stuff. :shrug:
