If cost is a concern, then stick with the 18 inch setup. I don't think the 19's are worth it, just for the looks. Plus you have less cushion when you hit a big hole in the road.

I'm with you on this. I'm already thinking about supercharger and I don't even have the car yet. Has anyone used any of the kits from Ford racing? They look good but I'm betting they are more $$ than the others.

Yes thanks. Interesting, my order was submitted to Ford on 7/7, and the VIN was assigned on or before 7/24. Much quicker than yours for some reason. So it looks like I might be about a week behind you, which would match up to my expected 9/1 delivery.

Ok so I now have my VIN #. So I guess that shows some progress. Question: is there anything I can actually do with the VIN ? Is there a site where I can see the progress of the car?

Thanks for the input. I'm still partial to getting a complete rearend with the 3.73's already in place. That way I don't have to play with the gears and preload and all that stuff. Plus I'd like to be able to setup the ECM without having to go to an aftermarket setup. It might be possible to...

Does anyone know about daylight running lights on the 2010 GT? Do the HID's stay on all the time? Or is it the fogs? If it's the HID's, I'll be studing the wiring diagram to shut them off, there is no need to have them going all the time.

Why wouldn't you get the complete Ford kit?

Well I think you get the auto dimming mirror with the comfort package, right? I also ordered the backup camera. Does anyone know if that mirror (backup camera) is larger than the others? I sure hope not, there isn't a lot of visibility as there is. Not getting NAV.

You could probably do that damage at maybe 45-50 MPH. But I wouldn't want to try. I'd love to get some of those interior parts & seats for spares.
