it did not whine before. now when i say its loud i can hear it 2 blocks away when someone else is driving it. Its full of tranny fluid. i wonder when the input shaft bearing went out that it caused the gear on shaft to get worn enough to cause the noise.

How old is the clutch? Do you have a firewall adjuster? Or even a adjustable clutch cable. I just put new clutch kit and input shaft bearing in my T5. Now in 1st 2nd and 3rd. I hear the tranny whine. It also feels like a little shimmy when in 3rd. Any ideas what's up with this?? When aprart all other parts looked good.

I acually took it apart because i suspected i shucked a clutch disc only to find out the clutch was fine but worn. So a new clutch is going in. I found a rebuild kit in jegs for around $250. That should have all parts i need. (unless i find bad gears) do i need any special tools to rebuild this?

do you run 19lb injecters with your set up? i ask because you have pretty much the same set up, i ask because he have pretty much the same set up as i'm going for. And i don't know if you are still running speed density from you sig. I have a new set of bare p heads lined up as well.

I have a E cam notch and plan on upgrading the intake from stock to a explorer (got for $100) intake. to get the full potential out of the better flowing intake i plan on a 65mm tb and a new MAF (size?) so the question is, am i getting near the limit on the 19lbers or should i get some 24lbers...
