Those Of You With Flat Black Stripes...

Your blue is fantastic! What a great color. Defenintely my second choice. I have seen a GHIG GT with black stripes on the net. But I have never seen any in real life. Joe C

Those Of You With Flat Black Stripes...

I have read many times never to wax flat black stripes. I just got my GT a month ago and will soon wax it. I have heard of using Ultimate Quick Wax spray on them. I also bought some 303 Aerospace spray to protect the stripes and remove wax and stuff. A car detailer told me when he waxes his car...

Difference between Rousg and MRT Interceptors?

Back in 2010 when I got my 2010 GT I put on the Roush axle back exhaust system and the drone at 2000 rpm drove me crazy and I removed them and put on a pair of Magnaflows which have been very good. (I had posted YouTube videos showing the difference between the Roush and Magnaflows from inside...

    Continental Extreme DWS Good?

The Pirellis on my 2010 GT ARE all season, they are not the summer only tires which came as a option for some packages. Someone suggested the DW instead of the DWS but I am not sure if the DW will work well at low temps. Like I said I don't drive in the snow but do drive in the winter...

    Continental Extreme DWS Good?

My 2010 GT has about 15,000 miles on it and for some reason the 19" Pirelli Zero all season tires that came with the car are almost worn! I don't like the Pirellis as I don't think they are great in the rain and even though I don't drive it in the snow, when the temps get below 40 they don't...

    Difference between Magnaflows and Roush

They are very good overall, not real loud but louder than stock. There is a drone at 2000 rpm but not nearly as bad as the Roush.

    Heated (errrr lukewarm) Seats??

I don't think so. I drove my 2010 GT when the temp was in the 20's and the seats got so hot I had to turn them off or I would of had a hot *ss. Joe

New Mustang with scoop and stripes

Here is the car I ordered and canceled! Back in July I ordered this car from my local Ford dealer who told me because of the scoop and pedistal spoiler that he had no idea how long it would take to get. At the same time I found out that the new stripes did not look like what was on the Ford web...

    Difference between Magnaflows and Roush

OK, got some good weather and time to take some vidoes. The videos below are the two systems at idle and from inside the car going over the same route. I also posted a drive-by video of the Magnaflows which includes a peel out. This I think is my final exhaust mod. Next I need to attack the...

    Aftermarket Exhaust Drone?????

The 2010 for sure has drone at 2000 rpm. It was real bad with the Roush and even present (alot less) with my Magnaflows. The Roush had just resonators under the cabin and the Magnaflows are just replacement mufflers in the back but both have drone at 2000. Many systems will have a drone at 2000...

    Difference between Magnaflows and Roush

The Magnaflow that I have, pn 16574, are the more aggressvie sound. The pn 16573, which looks more like the stock Ford muffler, are quieter. When I talked to Magnaflow they reminded me that it takes 500-600 miles for the mufflers to break in; they will get louder after breakin because the...

    Just introducing myself.

EXCELLENT! Best of luck with it!!! Except for the red interior, it is the exact same car I got; Mustang I wanted to break up the all black and make it a little bit sportier so I added white stripes. It is my first new CAR in 30 years. I have been drivng big SUVs like Tahoes and Blazers...

    Difference between Magnaflows and Roush

Believe me, I want to take a video from inside and drivebys but working 12 hour days 4 days this week has stopped me from doing it till Sunday. Assuming Sunday we dont get rain or snow, I'll take it out for those videos and post ASAP. After all, "I" want to hear how it sounds from the curb to...

    Difference between Magnaflows and Roush

The Magnaflow axlebacks were an even swap for the Roush. The Roush price was $468 and the Magnaflows are around $450. Considering the dealership didn't charge me anything to put the old exhaust on and to take it off again to put the Magnaflows on, I think I got an excellent deal. PTL! Joe

    Difference between Magnaflows and Roush

Well, as you may recall I replaced the stock exhuast on my 2010 GT with the Roush exhaust which was too loud for my ears. I brought it back to Healey Ford in Goshen, NY and they found a buyer for me and put the old exhaust back on for free. Today my new Magnaflows that Healey ordered for me came...

Anyone using LiveLink to datalog their ECM?

Good idea. My wife wants to buy a netbook for her school work. Maybe I should agree and then "borrow" it for the Stang. On another note, with all that data I bet there is a way to determine the horsepower the engine is putting out from the data. I wonder if anyone has written a program to do...

Anyone using LiveLink to datalog their ECM?

WOW! I figured it out and it works great. I was able to monitor RPM, air temp, water temp and a million other things while the engine was running. I am using the FREE LiveLink software from SCT. This is so cool. If you have ever used Performance Logs in Windows XP, it is alot like that. I will...

Anyone using LiveLink to datalog their ECM?

Now that I have a Brenspeed X3 tuner, I was wondering if anyone has used SCT's LiveLink software and an X3 tuner to datalog their car's ecm? Do you need to use the analog port to get the data or can you get the data from the OBII port? Plus, how can one save the tunes in the X3 to a PC for...
