you have to do some major modifications to the engine compartment as well as entire new suspension system.

on the spike tv show horsepower they built a 68 fastback from scratch with global west suspension and i believe they did the standard shelby 1" drop.

I really like the look of the trans am mustangs in terms of ride height. I assume all trans am mustangs had the shelby drop but my question is was the rear suspension also lowered? If so where they lowered leaf springs?

i did the same thing to mine. It was sitting for a while so i pulled the plugs and primed the cylinders with some oil then tried to start it. It wouldnt suck gas for some reason and we ended up pulling the tank and the fuel filter was corroded and clogged so we changed that and it started right up.

i completely guessing but maybe your automatic kickdown but thats a guess and i may be just way off.

i believe it should fit fine. 67 and up had big blocks. 66 and down could only have small blocks cause the engine bay was not big enough. If you put a modular motor in like a 5.4 or 4.6 you will have to remove the shock towers

im just not sure how to get the scissor together and how that all works. I see there is a spring but i am lost as how its suppose to go together. Would it be easier to replace the skin and while the skin is out to reassemble the door?

1 door is completely screwed in terms of internals. the other just needs a new skin

Starting to rebuild doors. I think its gotta be one of the hardest things to do. I have plenty of books and manuals but none of them have decent pictures. There all to small to actually see what to do. Anyone got any good links or any advice for putting doors back together

i love mustangs and all classic cars but i dont see how i could ever spend 1.3 mil on one. I just cant fathom what they spent it all on.
