I just did this mod the other day. Like everyone says, unplug the pink one, put a new wire in. I used a 14 gauge I think since it looks a bit thicker, and just wired it straight to the coil. Remove the old one out. Not sure on yours but my wiring at the coil is a red and green stripe.

Does sound like the flasher. I replaced mine because it was smoking whenever my turn signal was on. Indication showed there it was short circuiting. The switch does control the brake lights and signals but if it's your signals not working, I'd definitely lean towards replacing your flasher.

I just installed mine today. Everything works on it. The only TINY issue I really have is the bar to turn the signals on. It jiggles lightly where the rivet holds it in. So that's the only small issue I have.

Ugh! Don't scare me right now. I just bought a turn signal switch from NPD but haven't installed it. Like junkie said, tell EXACTLY what's wrong with it.

I've never heard of the pulley not fitting. My pulley was able to fit to my 3g alternator with no issues. I ended up having to change the belt to a 1 inch longer belt to reach the pulley.

I know for the floor boards, I had lots of surface rust, but nothing too major to where I can sand it down. I ended up smoothing it out, and then putting some rustoleum rust protectant on it, and then painting it with a regular satin black paint on it from rustoleum to even give it more...

I've been interested in a T-5 lately, and from what I hear, 3.73 is pretty good for both if it comes for a 8.8. I'm running a C4 3.40 Ford 8 and it's not THAT bad.

Think the only problem with hood tachs if you park it at a store or somewhere not covered such as a garage, you got some idiot who would damage it. Well, at least in Cali we have tons of those people around. Looks nice though IMO.

I'm in the same boat as well, just like you. I mean my fender COULD be fixed, but I'd rather replace it and I found some places in LA who are selling an original, but I just don't want to drive 2 hours just to get a fender.

I'm running 15x7's on all 4. It's a 66, front end 1" drop, and the rear are a 1 inch lowering, but I installed 1 inch longer shackles so it's basically a 2 finger gap between wheel/wheel-well.
