    Cobra Spring Swap Question

03-04 cobra springs will NOT work. IRS vs solid rear. get springs from a mach 1 or bullitt. they will lower you roughly 1/2". the front may sit a bit high though, due to engine size. you coudl raise the rear by playing with the iso's a bit(mix poly rear/no front or something like that)...

    Bought a 2002 3.8L mustang

well, a tuner is a great start, and needed for most mods. from there, duals and a K&N drop in filter.

    Keep or Sell

as long as it is maintained, it should last a good long while...I know a few guys with well over 200k on their 3.8s, and one with over 500k on his original unopened engine.

    Engine Blown.... First Post!!

If thats the case, follow LX-5.0's advice and get a junkyard engine. low mile sixxers area pretty cheap, so might as well! 97-98 would be the years to go with, sicne 3.8's had headgasket problems up until mid-96. if you find a 99+ engine, it will work with a few differences- youll need to modify...

    Tire/rim size question.

no question is a dumb question! thats a good choice. as for tire sides- up front, a 255/40 would fit perfectly. a 275 will work as well, but you would rub a bit at full lock. in the rear, the 315's will sit perfectly. Are you at stock ride height? unless you are dropped 1.5"+, you...
