Had a similar issue about 2 months ago. I have the Mach 460 sound system and it locked up while changing from cd to cd. Locked up and wouldn't do anything except throw the CD error code. Never made the time to try and fix it and after about a month, it suddenly decided to start working...

:shrug: Actually, mine froze up about 6 months ago. Took it off and cleaned it up with some carb cleaner, put it back on and it purrs like a kitten. Took about 10 minutes. Haven't had a single problem with it since then.:nice:

If I had spent that much i would have made him redo the stitching but at $80 for the pair I figured I couldn't complain too much. Still looks better than the torn and faded original ones.

If you aren't hearing the fuel pump cycle and all the fuses check out it is most likely the fuel pump IMO. I just changed out the pump in my 01 GT because it crapped out. Not too difficult or time consuming.

Well, I found an upholstery shop to recover them for a reasonable price ($80 for both of them). He had a hard time keeping the stitches straight but other than that I am very happy with them. Here are the before and after pics. What do you guys think of them with the vinyl cover?

What setback/offset at the wheels? Also, do you have any problems with the wider tires in front tracking or picking up the ruts in the road? Your setup is exactly what I was thinking about putting on my stang. Thanks

Starter would be my guess. A lot of times after sitting for a while a bit of corrosion will form on the armature and keep the brushes from making good contact. Some times a whack with a hammer will jar the starter enough to get it working temporarily.

Personally I love the way my Magnapacks sound, even with the stock manifolds and catted H-pipe

Not yet but I have a good shop nearby so I guess I will have to take them over there and ask them. I thought about making some carbon fiber ones but don't have much free time right now
