    During the SLP line lock install I stripped the thread on the tube nut and master cylinder. Besides buying a new master cylinder and replacing the slp tube what are my options?

    About to attempt the Timesert

    The timesert instructions make it sound like the tools will bottom out when it reaches the correct depths. Any thoughts on how I would know when these tools are at the proper depths according to the linked write up?

    About to attempt the Timesert

    I am about to attempt the timesert fix and I am debating on whether to take the head off or leave it on. Of course I want to leave the head on for time sake but am worried about messing up the cylinder with metal shavings I may miss during the clean up. Encouraging words are welcome!

    Do the trick flow heads have the same potential problem the stock heads have of blowing the spark plug out?

    Yes, I am this cheap. ( boost pipe )

    I've been looking the web over and trying to get a good comparison of an 87-95 boost pipe compared to a 96-04 boost pipe. The reason is to save $120 and get the UPR plastic boost pipe. I assume the 87-95 is shorter going from the s/c to fender, but I gotta try. Anybody have a good picture...
