    i already have the length checker, just looking on how to use it correctly. i do have check springs that came with my cam degree and dial kit. so if i use the soft springs i can use my hydraulic roller lifters and not have to purchase a solid lifter?

    the only thing to do is to cut the rib/ lip from the factory fuel lines off and install a brass compression fitting on the stock lines connecting to your braided line

    i do not have a new timing set, sorry if i made it sound like that in my rambling. but i did use both new and old thrust plate (same bolts) with both comp cam and stock cam. all had exact same results. i also checked my rear engine plug and its correct.

    if i were to counter sink the plate it would take away too much material and greatly weaken the bolt "ears", more than they already are. something just isnt right.
