    Shifter, check... onto my DIS. Any upgrade options for this? might the coil pack off the 94-5 5.0 work? the 4.6? Obviously noone makes an upgrade for the 2.3 coil pack... Also rear ends? could I grab the rear off a 5.0 and slap it in (xcept for the brakes)? any tip/tricks? :shrug:

    '92 lx Caliper Pistons. Press-in or Twist?

    Need to replace the pads and rotors, but can't get the Caliper piston to release to change the pads... I'm told it may be a twist-style piston(?) If so, How is this done? Thanks guys! :stupid:

    well, i got the cable "Fixed". I used the quotes because the clutch feels odd. Before, as with most mustangs, the clutch was stiff, and now, its soft, almost like a normal clutch. One of the firewall bushings crumbled out while I was toying with the big cable, and we lost the screw holding...

    I manage to get about 200-230 miles a tank. When driving the highway, I'm in 5th at 2750 for 65mph, and I get these numbers...I don't race the thing, nor do I rev it all that high. I try to keep the RPMs between 1500-2000 at all times, but this doesn't seem to help. I put Lucas oil FI Cleaner...

    Poor gas mileage

    Realized after a while and doing the math, that I'm only getting about 12-15 MPG out of my 2.3 DP 4... plugs and wires are newer, no codes popping up, runs smooth, ect ect I have noticed that while on the highway, at 65 MPH, I'm running at about 2750 RPM...seems a mite high to me. I don't know...

    no, its just that noone spends much time in here. if ur cheap, like me, wrap a flat-head screwdriver in a cloth and pry gently... but Im pretty sure ford makes a tool for that specific purpose

    See, that's the part that confuzzes me... the VIN on the DASH matches the title, but nothing else.. Body is a 92, dash (title) is 89, and engine/tranny are 91. :shrug:

    Hood release

    first, spray down the latch itself with wd-40, where it meets the hood. dollars-to-donuts that'll do it. and if it doesnt, a 1/4 stick of dynamite will help. :lol:
