It turns out that the temp sensor for the guage on the dash was not calibrated correctly and the coolant intake sensor that controls the fan got bumped during the swap. Replaced both and its running nice and cool now. Thanks for the help though!:nice:

I just did a gt40 intake swap on my 94 5.0 Before the swap she would run on the O and R in the normal range but now shes in between the A and L in town and barely goes down on the highway.... any ideas on what the problem could be?? All help is appreciated!

it actually turned out to be an exhaust leak at the air injector tube. this tube supplies air to the cats to heat them up faster from what im told. either way im getting it fixed on tuesday for under $180.

i just went outside again to listen to it and it is coming from the passenger side valve cover or underneath it closest to the back. At idle in park it sounds more like a bubbling noise with an occasional tick and then when i put it in drive and take off it turns into a constant ticking going...

yeah the first thing i did when i bought it was change the oil and tune it up.... oil now almost has 3k so due for another change.

would it most likely be leaking where it connects under the valves or where the heat riser is?

no i dont have any mufflers. just stock cats and straight pipes all the way back.
