    Aero turbine Mufflers or Spintechs

I don't know anything about Aero Turbine mufflers. I've never heard of them personally. I have Spintech Prostreets on my 91' lx right now and I really like them. There are a few videos I have of them if you want to hear.

    Spintech or Flowmaster

I wonder what it'd make with higher flowing mufflers.

    Impressions on Eibach

Thanks for the info. I believe when I bought my Fox the previous owner had put in the Pro Kit springs. Not exactly sure though. I've been wondering about the Sportline springs, if they are any better or not, or if coil overs is the best route to go. My Fox is my daily driver, but I'd like to...

    Spintech or Flowmaster

In general this is all great food for thought, especially seeing those cfm flow ratings. The only way to find out the truth, and to prove that there is strength in numbers, is.......:track::nice:

    Spintech or Flowmaster

I'm going to make a similar video soon of the Spintech Prostreets w/BBK catted x. I just have to wait to get them and have them welded in sometime next week. I'll post the video here. *bye bye Flowmaster 40s* :nice:

    Spintech or Flowmaster

I'd definitely go with Spintech Prostreets and an offroad x pipe. That's the setup I'll be running within the next couple weeks. :nice: Here's something I found on the s197 forum that I'd like to share, I find this info quite interesting: All muffler flow ratings are with a 2 1/2"...

Trick Flow Street Heat intake TB question

So with a TFS top end kit on a 302 stock block, port matching the throttle body to the intake is best then? Say for this setup: 75mm throttle body & egr spacer in the 75mm TFS Street Heat intake opening and a Pro-M 75mm MAF. Otherwise, a 65mm or 70mm throttle body in the 75mm opening would...

    Pop Under Load

My car is doing that same thing. It only happens on cold starts and under 2500rpm with anything around 40-50% throttle. Once the car is warm it never does it, so I don't know what it really could be except maybe just extra gas from the initial start up being burnt (since the cars run rich from...

    Pop Under Load

My car sometimes will make a ''pop'' noise under load, usually accelerating in either 2nd or 3rd gear. After heated up to operating temp it goes away completely. So if anyone knows what it could be (bad injectors, or dirty plugs, broken plug wires, etc.) I'd appreciate any help! I was...

    3.73 vs. 4.10 - My actual experience

I know you're on the subject of 4.6s, but 5.0s can run high 11s with 3.73s. :nice: See for yourself

Does My Xpipe Install Sound Right?

From what I could tell nothing sounded unusual. X pipes usually have a gargle sound to them when letting off the gas (the possible popping sound you mentioned). Of course after installing and running the new x pipe for a little while you'll want to recheck the bolts and tighten them up, as over...

Anyone running an Anderson N-41 Cam?

Well, as an update since yesterday, I've found a few guys that do have the TFS cams and passed emissions. A guy ran a TFS Stage 2 cam here in AZ and passed with flying colors.

Anyone running an Anderson N-41 Cam?

I've been thinking about putting the N-41 cam in my '91 LX, but I'm torn between that and the TFS Stage 1 as to which will pass emissions. Does the cam affect emissions at all? Thanks for any input.

    2.25 or 2.5 inch exhaust.

2.5" would definitely be better considering the engine work you've done. It's usually the best route to go. :nice:

    Spintech mufflers anyone have them?

I'm thinking of running my BBK shorties, and BBK offroad x with some Spintech Pro Streets within the next couple months when I get the $. :)

Air Bag Light Flashes 4 Times

I've done some research for my flashing air bag light (4 times). It's a '91 by the way. I found out that it's a Fault Code 4 - Safing Sensor -- Diagnostic Circuit Open or Low Primary Crash Sensor Resistance. I just don't know where to start with fixing this. Looking on veryuseful's diagnostic...

    Headlight Switch Problem

I just went outside and did that (after trying to bend the tabs outward some more) since it has been sitting in the heat of 103* weather and it snapped in first try. The real test will come at night when turning the lights on will determine how well it will hold. Thanks for the suggestion, I...
