well i have plenty of experience driving in heavy snow, just not with a mustang. if had had those i wouldn't be driving a mustang in the snow :P it's pretty much come down to: 1. sell mustang and buy winter vehicle 2. drive mustang in the snow

hopefully i'll be able to get the wife a car, then i can drive my beater taurus through the winter. but as of now there isn't much choice :/

yeah it's pretty much a constant sound, and i can't really hear much over the sound of the V8 so im not sure about the sound when it's being driven. and i've owned it for a couple weeks now.

Due to my wife having to drive the taurus i'll be driving the mustang to work and school this winter season. i put some studded snow tires on the back, and i will be throwing in some bags of salt in the trunk to put some weight on the rear wheels. is there anything else than can be done...

it's a rather loud hum, it can be heard inside the car when the engine isn't on. if it's supposed to be loud, then great!:nice:

i believe so, but i could be wrong. it's loud when not started but the keys are at the first turn.

well it's definitely coming from the rear/trunk area. i don't think its the motor for the power radio antenna, and i think the pump is the only other thing back there, i could be mistaken though.

the fuel pump is really loud in my mustang, so i assume that it might be going out soon. how difficult is it to replace? i also don't have a garage, apartment life ftl :/

okay i tried the ol' 180 one em, they didn't work on either direction. i think im just gonna order that kit and call it good. now it's a matter of finding oil, voltmeter, engine temp lights. atm they have no light at all.

i'll give it another try. although a bright blue led kit for $27 sounds worth a try:)

Recently tried swapping out the stock bulbs with a couple of LED's. the ones in right now are so dim that its' difficult to read the fuel gauge and speedo at night. bought some that should have work, installed them and no dice. has anyone had any luck with this process, or has some bulbs...
