I have a 87 gt and i just replaced the clutch and the flywheel. Im still having problems with the trans. It was hard to get into fourth from third. It would grind. Now it grinds from second to third and third to fourth. I drained the fluid and replace with two quarts GM synchromesh trans fluid...

skunk21 thanks for the help. The molding that i need is metal, that is on the passenger window. If you look at the door, the piece of metal is at the back of the widow opening. It goes up and down, at the top it has a bevel then goes on the top of the opening to the front. The rubber window run...

well it looks like im not going to find the part i need. ive called the dealer and asked the body shops around here. no luck anywhere. guess i will be going to junkyards to try and find it.

I have looked at 50 resto and they don't have that part. I will have to post a pic of what i need so you know what i need. The piece is on the passenger side door, on the back side going up and down.

I have an 87 GT. Can anyone tell me where i can get some molding for the windows. Im replacing the window channel weatherstrip. In the process i pulled a piece of trim off the passenger side window frame. I cant find it anywhere. Is there a place that i can get this? Please anyone that knows...
