how many miles on your car? I just went through hell chasing a problem similar only to find it was a misfire - changed out the coils and problem went away. my car had 72k on original coils - never threw a code for misfire

01 GT convertible w/ 70k miles.. Stock engine/auto with 70mm TB and CAI.. Check engine light came on a little while back right after I had to get the A/C line replaced under the CAI box. Came back with P0136 (right side rear o2) and P1000 codes. Car started running "rough" about 2 weeks ago...

I wouldnt go that far, but I'd be very much open eyed... 200k with a blown motor and no maintenance history - expect to do some other work as well - probably a minimum clutch replacement, suspension, all the components.. Factor this into your costs as well when you consider upgrades... You...

Congrats on the addition. I did the same thing when my wife agreed to our 01 vert - an auto tranny isn't too bad once you see there is still plenty of upgrade potential in it. For the record - I think my wife has driven our car maybe 10 times since January, so hope you get used to driving...

After talking to a few other guys down this way, Summer tires make more sense since this car will not see the bad weather. Seems like the Nittos are the obvious choice.. Thanks! Now someone buy my anthracite bullets and I can swap to staggered 275 /315s on new rims!!
