Ok this may be a dumb question and already asked but I replaced the gear and the worm gear but still doesnt work. My speedometer hasnt worked since I have owned the car ( about a month) does the speedo have to work to have the odometer and tripmeter work?

How much are the bushings at auto zone? I thought it was my motors because they work with my help to go up and down but after reading this I guess I will try this thread and save some money which is always a good thing. Thanks for the write up.

Personally I have always liked this style hood as long as you go with one solid color for the whole car. Just my two cents.
