Alright guys I need a little help putting a list together for cheap upgrades for horsepower,braking,handling etc...me and a buddy picked up an 87' and 88' GT's...were on a budget and pretty much set on the GT40 TOP END and 373 gears..were not building track cars but something to cruise and beat...

i bought an 87 gt last week and the water temp gauge does not work..i bought a mechanical gauge but i cant find the sensor/sending unit..i believe its on the lower intake some where...any ideas or advice would be awesome..ill post pics soon of the car..its has t-tops..drove it about 80 miles...

alright guys im back in the sadle..im going to pick up a 1989 notch that has the 2.3 in it now but im gonna swap it out for the 302..its a 5 speed so i already have the pedal assembly and what not and i plan on doin the 5 lug conversion again like i did with my old lx..its in pretty good...

i know that..im talkin about the tiny pin holes and some of the holes left behind after we remove some things..im just lookin for ideas cause i have seen guys cover the firewall in diamond plate and stuff like that..thats why i wanted people to post pics..i couldnt really find any threads on...

OK I HAVE THE OPTION TO BUY AN 88 GT IN REALLY GOOD CONDITION THATS STOCK WITH LOW MILES BUT ITS AN AUTOMATIC AND IF I DO GET IT I WOULD WANT TO CONVERT IT TO A 5 SPEED..A PARTS LIST AND ADVICE WOULD HELP OUT A WHOLE LOT

im wondering if all the cross members are the same from 79-93??? i and rebuilding an 88 gt and the cross member is hit and i found one for $25 but not sure what year its from..please let me know asap so i can go pick it up..thanks

ok me and a buddy just pulled the tired 302 out of his 88' GT and we are unsure of what to do with the engine compartment..we know we are gonna fill all the small un needed holes and what not but im curious to what you guys do to make that area look better..if you can please post pics and ideas...

the car is an 89 but it was originally a 4 cyl...i believe the motor is from 87...im trying to find a notchback so nething i do to this one is gonna be swaped to the coupe..i got the car for under $1000 with a sound motor just have wanted a coupe for about the last 8 years and if im gonna do it...

the connectors are near the top of the list for sure along with new quads..anyone kno where ican find pics of the connectors installed?? just so i have an idea

im gonna get the bbk pulley kit next week and then im gonna do the gt40 top end setup with a mild cam..i already got a fan..my thing is now should i buy reman gt40 heads or buy some that aint been messed with? i plan on bringin em to the speed shop any way and i kno the remans will have stock...
