Moog upper control arm shaft kit

Does anyone know if the Moog upper control arm shaft kit, part# K8131 accept the grease fittings with 1/4"-28 thread? I know the off shore control arms use the metric 6mm grease fittings, I am hoping the Moog parts take the 1/4" fittings. Let me know. Mario

Routing P/S Hoses to Borgeson Box

Diablo, Do you have any free play in your steering after the swap. I installed a borgeson box on my 68 and replaced all of the steering components as well, only to find that there is some slop in this new box. If I turn the steering wheel there is some free play, before the pitman arm moves...

    Oil Pan Hole

Use Oatley expoxy putty here is a link, Epoxy Putty :: Oatey.com You can find it in the plumbing section of Home DePot. I used this to seal a crack in my oil pan and it worked liked a charm. The best way to make the repair is to drain the oil, grind the paint of the oil pan, and clean up...

How to check for a bad idler arm?

I should mention that the car has 1" drop 620 front springs, Shelby drop, 235/40zr18 tires up front with a 1" wheel adapter bolted to a Granada brake setup. The idlers arm moves up and down when you turn the pass. Tire left and right.

How to check for a bad idler arm?

I'm in the process of redoing my steering system. I have converted the factory power steering to a Borgeson box, replaced both inner and outer tie rods and put a fresh alignment on the car. I didn't replace the idler arm, because I replaced it about 5,000 miles ago, however when I took it out...

i need to make my 68 column about 2-3" shorter

I just installed this system in my 68 last weekend. I used a larger hammer to shorten the collumn. I found that the column needs to be almost fully colopsed to get the Borgeson box to fit, which I am not to fond of. Anyway here is a picture of the collopsed column with the box installed. BTW...

Couple q's for the guys who have been there already.

Not sure about the head light bucket, as I don't remember right now and I don;t have the car in front of me. As for the lower radiator hose I used a lower hose from a 95 Mustang GT, and the upper hose from a 89 Mustang 5.0L. Mario

parking brake cables for 8.8 disk rear

Does anyone know where I can get custom parking brake cables made or get the fittings that are pressed on to the ends of a parking brake cable? I put a 95 mustang 8.8 rear in my 68 and I would like to hook up the parking brake. I checked out Lokar's T-bird kit but that isn't really the...
