I believe mine was from a place called silver seal. I bought two sleeves and the installer for under $50 and it was a super smooth install and worked like a charm. Couldn't be more pleased!

Yes to all of the above, installing the sleeve and new seal this weekend.

Just ordered one with an installer from silver seal, ordered two of the sleeves just in case because i have terrible luck. hopefully that sleeve covers up the nicks i spoke of.

Yea and even if you dont run an E brake those cables have to be hooked into those brackets or the brackets can wedge themselves into the drum. causing something like you explained

Oh yes I know that. As far as I know all Ill have to do with the true trac I ordered is set my backlash. But I need to pull the pinion anyway to put in a new crush sleeve I overtightened the old one with I did a pinion seal.

Look realll close at the spider gears. I just blew mine apart in my truck the other day. If you can get a magnet mount dial indicator it wouldnt hurt to take 5 minutes and check your backlash. Then I would say work your way outward to the brakes and forward to the tranny. Is the tranny leaking...

How did you go about setting up the CC plates alignment wise. I woulda bought some but this is one of the things I'm leary of. And I dont trust any of the hack job garages around here to align my car. With my luck Id have 50psi on one side and 20psi on the other when I get it back from the shop.
