Yes I guess you would say permanently. The eec needs PIP to control the transmission. So it'll be permanent until (if?) I remove the eec entirely.

Is it safe to have a pullup with it (it being the PIP output from tfi to eec and uS) connected to the eec though?

Man if you happen to live in the CA Bay area I'd swap the stepper motor for you. It's pretty easy. The first motor I did took about 20 minutes to figure out, the other 5 took about 5 minutes each. I do believe I've got about 30 bucks into the fix. The hardest part by far was resyncing the gauge...

I was going to post a new thread but I guess this works too. What changed 2011+ from the 05-09 cars that makes them handle so much better? Seems all the major parts are nearly the same and it doesn't seem to have majorly changed any geometry, otherwise parts wouldn't be swappable between them...

That is pretty unlikely. The past two seasons they took off until mid summer. They just finished their last season a couple of weeks ago.

Eh, well my personal feelings, and many other peoples', "never buy someone else's project". So yes, besides perhaps cosmetics, mods do most definitely reduce their value.

Just bought an 05 gt with 136k on it. Lower mileage cars where easily 50% higher around here. Traded mileage for cash basically. Got this one for about 10 otd. 03&04's are still fetching that much around here, so i jumped.
