As was said, they are asymmetrical, but not directional, and work just fine so long as the outside is out. ;) I use them on my daily driver BMW and they work in everything but snow (of course).

I bought the ones from AM for my Vista Blue '06. The 3M adhesive is strong enough to last for a long time. Yes, you need to prep them with a light sanding and some adhesion promotor. Also, don't just use the 3M adhesive tape in strips across the back, go all around the edge, too.

Very nice choice. Lov ethe gunmetal/grey finish with polished lipes. It's what I went with on my BOSS 338s that just went on this past week. I also like the BOSS 302 style hocky stick stripe.
