My 1990 vert 5.0 lx was pulled out of an old barn after sitting for 4 years. The body looks immaculate except for the top looks a little frayed. Great find though! how many miles are on the clock?

Iagree with horse...cable is an engine/chassis ground....bolts to anything on engine. was probably bolted on mounting hole of starter which is why its disconnected. the dipstick tube should be attached also. doesnt matter where...attach it wherever it aligns up with a bolt...be it the starter or...
1) is a yellow wire
2) is a green wire with a red stripe
3) is a green wire
4) is a white wire with a blue stripe

I have the older style manifold..Edelbrock Torker. I agree with woodsnake..I've always used a holley carb..Ive got a 650 dbl pumper w/mechanical secondaries on my 302.I've never had any probs with the set-up. But also my engine isn't stock..lol
