    Start With Basic Mods Or Go Forced Induction

    All depends on your goals. You want to be running consistand mid to low 12's easy then jump for the blower if you got the cash. You will most likely do the bolt ons at some point anyway so it doesn't really matter. I think 4.10 would be hard to hook up with a blower unless running slicks, but...

    Just Finished My 410 Gear Install

    It's hard to feel improvements sometimes. Sometimes if you do a mod, go for a drive but its 100 degree and humid out and the last time you drove it it was 60 you might not feel a lot of difference. Engines make a range of power that is depended on many things. You are overall faster, just might...

    Quick Question On Installing Cams

    You can just have them fly cut for PTV clearance. I wouldn't be oppossed to a bearing re-fresh/hone/re-ring. Iv'e seen many o many an engine with super high hours have just new/dif pistons/ rings/ no hone, no new bearings just thrown in and work just fine running rated for hours. Theorectically...

    Engine 4.6 --> 347

    I'd stay with a mod motor. Time to learn new tricks ;). You can get a reman pretty cheap and put a blower on it and have money left over for other things, saves yourself a huge headache, and the trouble of owning a hacked up car to fit an old v-8 in a modern chassis.

    Electrical Cooling Fan / AC Issue, please help!

    maybe the extra current from the pump is overheating the surrounding relays? I would try to find a way to re-engineer the whole fuel pump circuit so that it is on it's own with the use of relays or run a return style system., or something similiar for the cooling fan. You could even consider...

    Engine Cold Air Intake, Worthless add on?

    I'm sure many people get them b/c they look so much better. I personally like the K&N set up with the black plastic tube and the attempt at a heat shield. Been thinking about it since my stock air box has warped and getting the clamp on is getting harder and harder.

    Engine Cold Air Intake, Worthless add on?

    As long as it isn't one of those tine little filters. Normally improvements are seen with a smoother pipe with less bends or heat transfer and or a bigger filter of the same filter level or just a filter that filters less. I Just use a different tube from a cheapo ebay CAI and attached it to...

    Mach 460 'CD ERROR'

    Mine did this the day I drove it off the lot. Insert Tool cd (no pun intended). Good thing it was a burnt cd. My fix was 1. remove cd player 2. throw it away 3. get another one and install it 4. just listen MP3 player through audio jack

    Wheel well rusting issues on 2000 GT (pictures attached)

    Unfortunately this is common, the correct fix is to replace the inner wheel housing and the quarter. You could attempt a patch but it will most likely start rusting again really quickly. You almost need to seperate the spot welds and every thing to completly de-rust the whole area. I suggest...

    New to board

    Hi, I am new to this board but a pretty active member on Coral in the 2v section, figured I needed to branch out some. I am a mech tech by trade and work for a leading engine manufacturer testing engines on Dynos. I drive 2002 Mineral Mustang gt (daily driver) Iv'e been tweaking on cars for over...
