I'm looking for real life experiences,please. I already replaced my rear springs with no apparent change in stance. My front springs of unknown origin are getting soft. I want to know how much to cut to maintain stock height with "new" stock 5.0 front springs. Thanks

I understand Urethane spring insulators will raise the car 1/2" because they don't crush down like rubber. Food for thought.

I have my 3.5" cone mounted in the fender and it gets tons of air. Don't see the need for ram-air. I saw 1 car that had small holes (maybe 1"?) in the bumper cover to facilitate the ram effect. HTH

Napa carries the replacement pressure hose for $21. The return hose is another $8. Has new seals on them. Don't tighten too much or the rack will crack. Gotta do mine if it ever stop raining.

There are 3 A4LD cars on the local board that are "parts" cars because of the trans. I had to replace the one in my daughter's 91 @ 110k. It's slipping again @137K. They can be made reliable using Explorer internals but its a bit spendy.

That auto trans is not great for mileage. 5 speed is better. I beat the crap out of mine and get 29 on the highway @ 75-80.If I drove my age I'd get much better mileage. :D

I haven't done it yet but I've read lots. I would look at 3" exhaust all the way back. Port the head. Then see where you are. Definitely some kind of intercooler.
