Technically can I run the sensors listed for the 94 - 95 in a 93 cobra housing? Per the technical specs, the housing is dimensionally & functionally the same except for the square flange termination versus a tube for the 93 cobra.

I'm just curious. Thats why I'm asking. I'm aware of the problems caused by changing too much in the intake tract. (I used to have a C&L housing) Is the MAF sensor for a 94 mustang the same as a maf sensor from a 93 and earlier? If its not the same, is someone selling a 94 housing with a...

    Maf Suggestions

Let me ask a dumb question. Is that different than putting the stock sensor of a earlier car in a 1994 mustang housing? Its the exact same thing if I'm not mistaken? My take on the matter is a 93 cobra and a regular 93 mustang have the same intake design. The air should flow through both...

I bought a reman 93 Cobra MAF (70 mm, direct fit replacement) & housing from the local auto parts store and installed my stock sensor in it. The stock housings have the bar that runs through the middle of the housing. My understanding is this bar is to cancel out back-pressure spikes at the...

Warning: Tfi Control Module Monkey Business

There is a difference though when manufacturing to Fords quality standards, versus manufacturing to whatever specification someone decides. Just a fyi - http://www.autosafety.org/ford-tfi-module-national-class-settlement/

Warning: Tfi Control Module Monkey Business

This is one of the original ones. I have 2 of these. I am seeing pics of gray one on google with a Motorcraft box, but not carrying the same part number and no Motorcraft on the TFI itself.

Warning: Tfi Control Module Monkey Business

I have had nothing but problems with tfi modules from local auto parts stores. I haven't tried to find a genuine Motorcraft one yet. I should. The only one that has been working decent is the one that came on my aftermarket tfi distributor.

    87 Gt Starting Issue

I think its possible that it is the solenoid connections. Only the small wire from the starter goes to one post. Every other wire and the heavy wire from the starter go to the other post. If the heavy gauge and small wire from the starter are hooked to the same post it sort of does what you said...

No, you're right. Nothing to do with emission equipment.

Code 91 is the O2 sensor. Nothing to do with any part of the emissions system whether installed in the car or not.

    Brakes 4cyl To V8 Brakes.

You can get everything other than the stainless caliper bushings for less than $150. Hawk pads are about $75, and Russell braided steel brake lines are also $75 from Summit.

    Electrical Rf Shielding Sensor Wires

Shielding is essentially a metal foil or mesh over the wires with the shielding portion connected to ground/negative. If its mesh then the hole size in the mesh depends on the specific size wavelength/frequency you're trying to block. What issue are you having with your mustang that you believe...

    Brakes 4cyl To V8 Brakes.

Nope, SSBC. "That's pretty much it. You've just upgraded the brakes from horrible to terrible. ;)" Lol - and true. If you get braided steel brake lines instead of the rubbers it helps quite a lot for the 5.0.

    Multiple Issues..

You'll feel a lot of vibration when you're driving the car. If you're pulling like 700 hp okay, but under 500 my personal opinion is that the stock mounts can take it. I have similar mods as you do, but I'm only running the 93 oem mounts. The 92 and earlier non-convertible engine mounts are...

    Multiple Issues..

I would check the passenger side motor mount. The engine and trans are pinned and bolted together (under normal circumstances), so usually the motor sagging to one side is what causes the issue. You may or may not be happy with solid engine mounts. You can pick up a set of oem rubbers from the...

Need Some Help With Turn Signals. Plus A Very Strange Module Found Under My Steering Column. (videos

I would remove the alarm if you no longer have the ability to use it. I have seen too many hack jobs that cause problems in the car later on. The sensor in the picture is a shock sensor. The fact that its blinking when you tap it is saying that the alarm system is still powered and active.
