SOLD 1989 Mustang GT 5.0 Black, Hatchback, T5, DFW Texas

Selling my Mustang everyone. It's a 1989 Ford Mustang GT Hatchback with 100,500 original miles!! The car is still mostly stock and in excellent condition. Garage kept most of its life. Everything in the car works. I have owned the car for 8 years now. Never been wrecked. Clean title. I'm in...

You Texas Boys And Now Florida!

I'm glad it's not in your house man. But that fat wallet should take care of the damages :) jk. Is that your pole barn in the back? That sucker is nice and elevated, mustangs be cozy dry in that. You build a loft in the rafters and ya'll got a place to stay during the cleanup for the in-laws...

Brakes The Ultimate 4-lug/5-lug Brake Conversion/upgrade Thread

Best pedal feel would be hard line all the way to the brakes, but in the front that's impossible, so stainless steel braided is the way to go so you don't end up with a squishy pedal feel(expanding rubber on hard brakes). Just a preference really, depends on what your goals are for the car...

    Mini Tubbn

I like as much meat on the rear wheels as possible, but no worries I will burn those tires off well before I do the suspension upgrade and switch back to 275/35's :burnout: So I take it you like the softer springs then the saleen progressives?

    Mini Tubbn

That was exactly my thought on the matter. It used to have that free room to travel but after its lowered I expected that free room to be gone and the tires hit the wells on bumps. What are your specs on springs and shocks? How many inches? No rubbing at all on bumps or hard corners...

Head Gasket Trouble - Pull Engine

Looking for a specific picture of the stang today, didn't find it, but I found this video. As Tim the Toolman Taylor would say.... Ar AR AR ar..... Crank up the volume! View: https://youtu.be/Bk3eYeTRhIE

    Mini Tubbn

Question, are you guys lowered at all running the 275's without rub?

    Mini Tubbn

This is the only image I could find with old tires, they were 275 35 ZR18. Look at that gap! Horrible. I need drop springs, but then i might get rub with those... I run 245 40 ZR 18's up front btw. They rub a hair on big bumps and sharp turns in reverse.

    Mini Tubbn

I don't know how I got so lucky but this is a stock rear suspension with a fender roll only, no rubbin... I want to mini tub for the look, 315's would be awesome. 275 40 ZR18

Engine Pcv Valve, Battery Ground, Ford Tfi Ignition Explained

Check out 38:05 too, he states that TPS voltage should be .95 or lower, anything above that is incorrect and he said .98 was never correct and that the mustang computer worked best at .90 or less. I see this sticky thread, hmmmm...

Engine Pcv Valve, Battery Ground, Ford Tfi Ignition Explained

Check out 36:38 in the video about the thermostat. He says using a 180* is old school thinking and you should use a 192* or aftermarket 195*. Proper engine temp is 192*. He doesn't go into specifics about why because that's not what the video is focused on of course. But check it out, let me...
