wmburns: It is only when its cold. After about 5 minutes of idle, the car runs perfectly. You're throttle body idea is very intriguing to me though! I wont have it back to the tuner for a while, but do you think that blocking part of the throttle body off would be a good way to test this theory?

ok guys, Finally an update. I took it to the tuner, they have had it for months!! Basically they cant fix it. They checked for leaks, replaced the IAC, spent over 20 hours tuning. Still same problem. This is a VERY reputable tuner for mustangs in my area. Any other ideas?

My fuel pressure is sitting at about 32 psi at idle, goes up to 34 if the engine is reved. Is this low? Its a new fuel pump (reg auto zone model). I need to get me car tuned but I'm worried that this fuel pressure isn't going to give me what's needed to get a proper tune. is there a way to...

For sure you are correct. What I was asking is, can I use my gt ecu? if so, how is it modded to run COP? i.e. there are 4 wires in each coil pack, you need to pull them, identify which wire is for each cylinder, then attach them to the corresponding COP. (I hope its that easy anyways)

For sure your right. I did consider leaving the 4.6 and adding boost. (like everyone else) but I want this to be relatively unique. And as much fun as 1000 hp would be, I'm not that big on racing. Even street racing. But I'll drive this beast with pride that its something that not everyone does...
