Got the new hood mounted up this morning!

I checked with autozone, advance, napa, and pep boys. They all listed the u joints with outside clips, or they had u joints with both clips but wrong size bearing diameters. They were all 1 1/16". I found them online and ordered some.

No one in town carries anything close, so I'll be using a micrometer and measuring mine then ordering one online.

I need the front one. So far I know it's a dual set with inner, and outer clips. The inner clip sides are 1" O.D.

Hey everyone, I need to replace u joints on my 65 fastback. It's the normal 8" rear end and driveshaft that came in the car. Any idea where I can get them? Part numbers? Can I swing into an advance or autozone and pick them up? Thanks Nate

Oh man that sucks! I'm still getting used to mine so I'm parking a long ways away from stuff on purpose

4000 miles on my GT PP. my drive is 20 miles of highway and 5 miles of stop and go. I'm averaging right around 21 or so. I get 25 on the highway, but the city portion of my drive brings the average down quite a bit. I have yet to average under 20.

Where did you get the roush axle back and shifter ball from? Does the ball just replace the top or is it the whole shifter?

I have the performance package with 275's and have not had any wheel hop. Only tried on warm tires so far

I would check all of your ignition grounds and leads. The wite that supplies 12 volts to the dizzy, check it every where for loose connections. Check to make sure your block is grounded well to the frame. Any crappy looking connections should be broken free and reconnected. Be sure to strip...

I would suspect ignition as well. Maybe pull dizzy cap and take a look inside. Loose connection somewhere?
