Engine Chasing a badly idling/dying engine.

Did you pull the distributor for the pertronix upgrade? Given the info you provided, it could be a bunch of issues or combination of issues. I'd start with timing, but it could be a vacuum leak, fuel system, carb, etc. Fwiw, I usually try the cheapest thing first and progress from there.

Any Of The Old Timers Still Here?

Oh jeez. I forgot about this thread. Instead of working the stang. I spent most of the last year working too much. I did manage to get it up on some casters. So that's progress!

    My 67 project

Haven't decided yet. One of my boys wants to help. So we need to sit down and figure out what we are shooting for. I think a good start will be to get it stripped down and get the paint off to see what we are working with.

    My 67 project

Not sure how I am double posting pics. Anyways. I know for a fact that I will need to replace the front floor pans. One was a bit soft about 10 years ago. I will also have to paint and repair some sheet metal. Not sure to what extent yet Luckily I have my own paint booth now. I spent...

    My 67 project

I am about to start a resto (again) on my 67 coupe. Figured I'd start a thread to hold me accountable to make progress :D A little background first. Since we have a lot of new members, and I have not posted in years. I bought the car in 2002 when i was still in the service. I got out of...

Another new guy... (and seeking advice)

Welcome. I spent a couple of years in rapid city. Can't remember if they salt the roads there or not. But I'd do a thorough check for frame rail rust. 5k would be a good starting price in my neck of the woods.

Any Of The Old Timers Still Here?

It's a bit better now. Hung the cabinets and moved the household stuff to the garage. Just need to install the compressor, run air lines, set up the kegerator, and finish the stereo install. Pro tip. Don't make your better half too comfortable after moving. As soon as you do, the...

Any Of The Old Timers Still Here?

Any Of The Old Timers Still Here?

I actually just pulled my 67 into my shop this evening to start the tear down. I finally have reached equilibrium between income and time to actually do stuff! I just moved into a new house with a detached 1500 square ft shop. Kind of excited to start getting my projects underway.

    Value Question?

Unrestored C code coupe that needs work to get back on the road. Probably $2500 would be generous around my part of the states. They are usually listed for $5000, but never sell.
